Wages & Benefits
$25 - $29 per hour; generous paid time off policy, plus 10 paid holidays per year, 2 floating holidays, and an additional week of paid time off for the week between Christmas and New Year’s; medical, dental, and vision insurance plans; $3,000 annual employer contribution to Health Savings Account; short- and long-term disability Insurance; agency-paid life insurance and optional additional life insurance; retirement plan with employer matching on first 4% with immediate vesting. Eligibility for benefits begins the first of the month after date of hire.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
A Typical Day in the Life...
- A typical day as the Executive Assistant at NEON provides the opportunity to support NEON’s President, internal executive staff and external clients and visitors, and includes the following:
- Filing and retrieving records and data as requested by NEON President.
- Opening, sorting and distributing incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.
- Reading and evaluating incoming emails, submissions and reports to determine their significance and plan thei distribution.
- Making travel arrangements for NEON President.
- Preparing agendas and make arrangements for staff, board and other meetings.
- Preparing board reports and packets, schedule board meetings, and board committee meetings.
- Performing general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records, management systems and performing basic bookkeeping work and digital file organization.
- Attending, compiling, transcribing and distributing minutes of meetings.
- Coordinating and directing office services, such as records and budget preparation, personnel and housekeeping in order to support NEON President.
- Managing and maintaining schedule of NEON President.
- Preparing invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements and other documents using word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software.
Who You Are
- You hold a high School Diploma/GED or higher, (required); preferably a Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Business
- Administration, though not required.
- Your combined experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant or Receptionist amounts to at least three tofive years; preferably including 5+ years of C-level administrative experience.
- You have experience with Microsoft Office Suite as well as strong computer and word processing skills (knowledge of MS
- Word, Outlook and Excel).
- Your attention to detail is strong, you have excellent time and project management skills (deadlines, tasks, etc.) and the
- ability to switch focus quickly as needed.
- Your disposition is professional and friendly, and you conduct your work with integrity and confidentiality.
- Your written and oral communication skills are exceptional.
- You are self-motivated and able to tolerate periods of sitting (infrequently may lift up to 50 pounds).
- You have experience working with diverse populations.
- You hold a valid MN Drivers’ License and access to reliable transportation
